The Students Committee in the Department of English prepared for the visit of the department students to the secondary school of Hawtat Sudair, in order to give sessions in English to pupils of the first grade, on Tuesday 2nd December 2014. Prof. Manaa AL-Harbi- the head of the department- and Pro. Hussein Al-Btaynia pre-prepared this visit: the timing, the date; coordination with the school’s teachers and administration,… in addition to accompanying the students, guiding them, directing them and motivating them. Students of the sixth and seventh level were the targeted ones for achieving a number of targets the most important of which are: 1-removing negative sensations such as stress, fear, and other psychological barriers in order to practice the teaching profession. 2-effecting students’ orientation to practice the teaching profession and increasing their desires to join this honorable job. 3- Putting students in a real educational environment which affects their expertise. The school’s headmaster well received students providing them with important advices, and offering means to achieve the purposes expected from the visit. Finally, the headmaster exalted students’ educational level and their skills in teaching and direction, which reflects the college’s role and interest in producing distinct and skillful students.
