Training Session entitled "The Relationship between Consonant and Vowel Sounds”

The English Department held a training session on "The Relationship between Consonant and Vowel Sounds” on Sunday 18/5/1439 in the lecture hall. The session was presented by Dr. Ihsan Mohamed Bilal who spoke about the 26 letters and the 44 sounds including 35 vowels and 9 consonants. Dr. Ihsan emphasized the need to learn the phonetic symbols to be able to study and apply the consonants and vowels appropriately. This course aimed to develop students listening as well as speaking skills through covering the foundations of vowels and consonants.
