The Unit of Academic counseling organizes a workshop entitled "Using Technology in Academic counseling" The college unit of Academic Counseling has held a special session for the faculty members to identify the problems that the academic advisor faces during the guidance process. Professor / Sheriff Awayes from the admission and registration deanship has been invited to deliver this workshop and who has been received by the College dean Dr / Tariq Bin Sulaiman Albahlal who was delighted with this blessed initiative and encouraged the faculty members from male and female sections to benefit from this workshop and ask any question that comes to their minds. Mr. Sharif Aways in his turn appreciated this workshop regarding that it is the first of its kind, and that the college has a head start in organizing such an event. After that, professor / Haitham Youssef handled the workshop while Prof. Sharif Awaisa addressed the important issues of academic guidance such as the academic advisor’s tasks and the importance of the Study Plan and how the faculty member should fully understand it. He also pointed to the minimum and maximum hours average, the problems faced by the student and the faculty member (mentor) at the stage of deletion and addition and the proposed solutions for this. He explained how the faculty member can electronically check the student's file and how there is no need to have a paper file as it had been noted in advance. The end of the workshop was devoted to an open discussion during which lots of questions were raised from the faculty members of both the male and female sections
