The Vice-Dean’s Office for Educational Affairs, represented by the Student Support Unit, conducted on Tuesday a workshop entitled “ How to contribute in applying Quality at my College”. Presented by Dr. Essam Abdelrahman, the workshop focused on introducing the concept of quality and academic accreditation, and how that would have a positive impact on students. The workshop also highlighted the means through which students can participate in applying the quality systems for the educational process at their college such as ( curriculum, learning and teaching, evaluation, student support, teamwork, community service, academic accreditation). The workshop was wrapped up by discussing the relationship of concepts such as quality assurance and academic accreditation, student support and study surveys with the improvement of learning and teaching.
