A Workshop on “How to improve Your English Skills”

The Alumni Unit held in cooperation with the Student Support Unit and the Department of English Language a workshop, entitled “How to improve Your English Skills”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Basheer Shaba’an who explained how students can improve their skills in writing, reading and listening by harnessing the available websites and applications on Internet. Dr. Shaba’an also advised students to read newspapers and magazines and listen to news in English on daily basis. To master the writing skill, he said it has to be practiced consistently. The workshop was wrapped up by a hands-on training for students on writing and listening strategies.
