A Workshop on “Improvement of Interpersonal Skills in Business”

The Training Unit conducted in cooperation with the Department of English a workshop for students entitled “Improvement of Interpersonal Skills in Business” on Thursday. The workshop was presented by Dr. Sheyba Ali who highlighted the value of interpersonal skills as an important element for better professional life. She also talked about self-realization, improvement of communication skills with others, how to identify the obstacles that may hamper the communication, how to gain others’ trust and presentation skills. She wrapped up the workshop by a number of suggestions such as practicing active listening, identify obstacles, learning gestures and speaking skills.
