The Unit of Students Support organized a workshop entitled “ Scientific Research”, presented by Dr. Mubarak Bin Salem Al Seif, the counselor of the Students Support Unit, on Tuesday 18 November 2014. This workshop was organized for the sake of students participating in the Sixth Scientific Conference and students of higher education, and aimed at gaining students scientific research skills that help constructing researchers following the function of higher education in scientific research serving. The workshop contained how to choose the subject of the research, styles to determine the problems of the research, constructing scientific hypotheses, formulating questionings of the research, differentiating between goals and importance of the research, how to benefit from the theoretical frame of the problems of the research, in addition to praxis on research methods, constructing research tools especially questionnaires that fit researches led by students, and how to write the results, in addition to supplementary sides such as references and indexes. Moreover, Dr. Mubarak Al Seif recommended the importance of training students on constructing electronic questionnaires that enable students to save time and money, and to reach the largest possible portion of students.
