Induction Meeting Regarding Procedures And Rules Of Publishing And Translation At The University

Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Rumaah has organized an induction meeting regarding the procedures and rules of publishing and translation at the university. Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Darqi, has welcomed the Director of Publishing and Translation Center at Majmaah University, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Salem, therefore, the meeting was held in the meetings hall at the college, where Dr. Abdulrahman Al Darqi started the meeting by welcoming the Director of Publishing and Translation Center and faculty members, on behalf of the employees of the College of Science and Humanities in Rumaah, represented by the Dean of the College Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Vices Dean of the college and heads of department. After that, the Director of Publishing and Translation Center talked about the Centre and broached on the importance and objectives of the Center of Publication and Translation, clarifying that this Center is one of the main pillars at the University of Majmaah to serve faculty members and researchers to transfer knowledge of various sciences from foreign languages into Arabic Language, as well as the dissemination of new authored works to contribute to the sustainable development and effectively participate in building knowledge-based community. Then, he explained the kind of the scientific article that the Centre is interested in publishing as well as the standards of adoption a book and publishing it, also he talked about the university's rights and copyrights as well as the author's ones when agreeing to publish a book, in addition to the procedures of writing, translating, and publishing a book at the university, finally the gate was opened for discussions, proposals, and suggestions of good ideas.
