Islamic Studies Department, represented by Academic Advising Unit, held a workshop entitled: “ A Comparison between current and previous Study Plans for the Department of Islamic Studies” for levels 1 and 2.
Presented by Dr. Adel Al-Olayan, the workshop included a review of the courses selected by students in the past two quarters and their equivalents in the new plan. For example, Jurisprudence of Prayer is equivalent to Jurisprudence of Worship, and the Jurisprudence of Purification and Introduction to Jurisprudence are equivalent to Jurisprudence of Worship, while the remained courses have the same course title, taking into account the changes in the courses’ codes .
During the workshop, samples of some students’ plans were reviewed, equated courses and solutions solve some of the issues.
