A visit to Raise Awareness of Drug Danger As part of the awareness programs and activities between Majmaah University and the National Committee for Fighting Drugs

The College of Science and Humanities in Rumah represented by Ms. Labiba Al-Enezi, Deputy of Student Affairs, Ms. Al Hanouf Al-Rumih, Assistant-Deputy of Student Affairs and Ms. Al-Jawhara Al-Sebaie, Director of Student Advising Unit have received a delegation from the Department of Drugs in Riyadh. The purpose of the visit was to raise the student awareness of the danger and negative effects of drugs on individuals and society. Furthermore, reasons of drug spreading throughout the kingdom and ways of treating this problem were highlighted in a lecture delivered by the delegation. College students contributed to the lecture by giving a presentation and handouts containing information about the harmful influence of drug use in society. The presentation of the delegation and students along with the handouts received a good interaction from college students. In addition, the delegation praised the hearty reception they have found by the College leaders.
