A Workshop on Course Description

In line with the efforts exerted by the Quality Assurance Unit to activate the activities listed on the operational plan, Dr. Atef Abdelbari, a faculty member at the Department of Business Administration, presented a workshop, in cooperation with the Vice-Dean’s Office for Quality and Development, entitled “ Course Description”.
The workshop targeted faculty members at the department of Islamic studies and the department of English Language who interacted and were very concerned to learn the necessary skills to write a course description.
The objectives of the course are :
1. explain the concepts related to course description and reports preparation.
2. illuminate the instructions of using the course description and reports forms and
3. A hands-on training on how to use course description and reports forms
The outcomes of the course are :
1. Faculty members were able to discuss the concepts related to course description and reports preparation.
2. Faculty members were able to use the course description and reports forms of the commission.
3. Faculty members required another course on measuring the learning outcomes.
