Under the patronage of the dean of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Showair, and in the presence of the vice deans, heads of scientific departments and the coordinators of the college transformation plan, a periodic meeting was held to discuss the progress being made to implement the transformation plan from the Community College to the Applied College. The outcomes of the meeting held by the ministry for the transformation processes of all applied colleges in the Kingdom were also addressed.
The college's strengths and how to boost them were discussed along with the challenges and obstacles encountered in the transformation process. The dean of the College pointed out that it is important to activate the college’s role in supervising diplomas offered at the university, as well as forming partnerships and cooperation agreements with the local community and counterpart colleges in other universities.
