The Applied College team won first place in the Football Tournament after beating the College of Business Administration team in the final match 2-1. The team played a number of matches in the tournament in the semi-final rounds which qualified them to play the final match under the patronage of MU's rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, on Tuesday.
The Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Aboudi, handed over the tournament's trophy and gold medals to the Applied College football team, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Saleh Al-Rashidi and the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi bin Abdullah Al-Shuwayer.
It is worth noting that the college also won the tournament’s top scorer and the best goalkeeper in the tournament.
