The Applied College in Majmaah organized a field visit for students to the Baja Factory in Sudair City for Industry and Business as part of the partnership with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) to bridge the gap between academic aspect with work environments and learn the modern technologies.
During the visit, the students were briefed on the various departments of the factory and its work mechanisms, including the stages of production and packaging as well as quality and distribution.
They also learned about the modern technologies used in the manufacture and packaging of food products, and the quality assurance mechanisms that the company adheres to to provide high-standard products.
The students were accompanied by a team of factory officials who explained to them the workflow stages and answered their questions.
