The Applied College branch in Zulfi organized, in partnership with the Taqdeer Association for the Elderly, the first event of the "Elderly Forum," which was held at the Al-Juraybi'ah Resort. The event aimed at honoring and appreciating the elderly in the Zulfi governorate, enhancing their role in society, and celebrating their contributions.
The event was attended by a number of elderly women, representatives from the Applied College and the Taqdeer Association, as well as several guests and social work advocates. The forum included a comprehensive program of recreational, cultural, and social activities aimed at strengthening the bond between generations and highlighting the cultural and historical heritage of the Kingdom by sharing inspiring stories.
The forum began with a welcoming speech by the Executive Director, who expressed the importance of honoring the elderly and valuing their contributions. This was followed by interactive discussion sessions, heritage performances, recreational competitions, and performances that evoked the beautiful memories of the past. Commemorative gifts were presented to the participants as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation.
