Under the patronage of the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, the male campus of Applied College in Majmaah organized a special celebration on the occasion of Foundation Day. This day reflects the rich history of the Saudi state and its legacy that has spanned over three centuries. The event aimed to emphasize the significance of this historical event in promoting national identity and instilling values of loyalty and belonging among the students.
The celebration highlighted the depth of Saudi Arabia's history and its glories. The event began with verses from the Holy Qur'an, followed by the dean's speech who expressed the importance of this day in the hearts of all citizens and the significance of recalling the heroic acts of the ancestors who established this blessed land on principles of determination and faith. Several students also delivered patriotic speeches, reflecting on the bright milestones in the Kingdom's history and the remarkable civilizational achievements it has made over many years.
The celebration featured cultural performances that showcased the authentic Saudi heritage, from traditional clothing to artistic displays illustrating the Kingdom's cultural diversity, as well as the presentation of poems that expressed pride and belonging to the homeland.
A national interactive competition was also organized, which included questions about the history of the Saudi state and its prominent figures. The event concluded with prizes and commemorative gifts for winners.
