DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE SIGNS MoU WITH ABDULRAHMAN AL-SUDAIRY CULTURAL CENTER

In line with the university’s successive achievements in community initiatives, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education (DCSCE) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy Cultural Centre in Ghat to cooperate in heritage and community and cultural programs. The aim of this MoU is to conduct programs that raise the community awareness about Sudair region heritage. The Dean of DCSCE, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi, said that signing this memorandum is at the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the follow-up of the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari to open up communications channels with local community institutions in order to enhance the university’s role in serving the community. Prof. Mashael Al-Sudairy, Assistant General Manager, talked about the contributions of the Centre in promoting cultural works and increasing the community members’ awareness in Ghat region, commending the leading role of the university in this regard and the willingness of the Center to provide all facilities to achieve the objectives of this memorandum. The Vice-Dean of Community Service Deanship at female campus, Dr. Maha Al-Khaltham, pointed out that the female campus is also ready to participate in the success of this memorandum.
