On the sidelines of the Workshop concerned with coordination of efforts to benefit from the Weather Conditions Follow up Unit on campus, the Assistant Deputy Minister of Education for teacher Affairs and General Supervisor of the General Directorate of school Security and safety at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Majid Al-Harbi, and the Director of the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection in Riyadh, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Deghethir, as well as many scholars interested in meteorology and environmental protection visited the University busses, the first one assigned for community e-learning and the other one for students of special needs. The visitors were briefed on the services of the busses in terms of training, e-learning, community service and assisting students of special needs. The visitors commended the idea of the busses and the resulting services, which mark the distinction of the University in its useful initiatives to its community and serving all public sectors at the governorate. At the end of the visit they extended their thanks and appreciation to the University Rector for utilizing all resources of the University to serve the community.
