Within the framework of the educational e-supplies project which the university seeks complete it in various colleges represented in the Deanship of e-learning; the Deanship held a coordinative meeting with one the globally specialized authorities in three-dimensional printing were they reviewed different types of printing products and materials used in them either powdered, plastic or aluminum materials. Also, they discussed how to use them educationally.
It is worth mentioning that one of the features of this technology is
• Rationalizing the use of raw materials, as printers produce the required quantity only in the case of spray printing, while in case of laser printing, the remaining raw materials can be used again , as it can print any object as long as it is already prepared on the computer,
• The high resolution and high quality for objects it produces.
So, this kind of printers is popularized in the medical centers and is frequently used in the Prosthesis organs and teeth. The Deanship seeks the study of this type of supplies to support the educational and scientific process in the applied colleges at the university.
