The University Rector, Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqrin received a congratulation letter from the minister of communication Advisory and chief executive of the Government Electronic Procedures program, Dr. Abulrahmen Bin Suleiman El--Arini. The letter was a congratulation for the government electronic award entitled to the Majmaah University in the World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2015 held in Geneva, Switzerland. The University was nominated for this award via their participation in the seventh category of the competition (information and communication technology applications, e-government) with the committee and councils system. This is in fact one of the systems adopted by the University since its foundation – represented by the Deanship of e-leaning and distance learning.
