The E-learning Deanship at the University organized a workshop regarding the courses that will be studied via distance learning. The workshop held - following the university approval of distance learning for some courses- aimed at the professors of such distance learning syllabuses and the concerned heads of department units throughout all departments of the University. The M.U. Vice-rector and Supervisor of the E-learning Deanship, Dr. Mosallam Al-Dousari opened the workshop with the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Aromaih. Run by Dr. Khalid Al-Medebri- Deputy vice-rector for Academic Affairs, the workshop focused on the roles of students, professors, admission officers, deanships, colleges and Information Technology Deanship in running those courses. Several former meetings had been held with the relevant department heads to study the mechanism for integrating such courses into the overall required courses mandated by the University prior to that workshop. At the end of the meeting, the Vice –rector, Dr. Mosallam Al-Dousari thanked the attendees for their participation and Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin, M.U. Rector, for his support of this new direction, which contributes to the development of the study at the University and integration of technology into education.
