Deanship of Libraries Affairs Holds a Training Course for Teaching Staff and Students in Colleges Complex in Almajma'ah

The Deanship of Libraries Affairs is always seeking to activate using electronic information resources (digital library and information data). Since these resources are important for students and teaching staff in enriching the teaching process and scientific research, the Deanship tended to conduct a series of specialized training courses. First, the Deanship held a training course on "How to Use the Saudi Digital Library and Research Skills in the Digital Environment" for teaching staff and students in colleges complex in Almajma'ah for three days. The program was opened by his Excellency the Deanship vice Dean Dr. Ibrhim Alkhedeiri. Then, the trainer and the consultant in the Deanship Dr. Osamah Khamees did a presentation on the Saudi Digital Library. The presentation included some explanation, introduction and training on the Saudi Digital Library and how to utilize it, register, browse and research in it. Also, the teaching staff was trained on using some research strategies in the electronic environment and there were some practical examples. The training program was executed throughout three days as the following:

  The training program was attended by 80 trainees. An electronic training bag was given to all trainees. The electronic bag contained the material for the training day, electronic database, the registration guide of the Saudi Digital Library and the distribution catalogue of databases in Saudi Digital Library over topic majors in Almajma'ah University.
