A group of students from the Department of Information Science, College of Arts at King Saud University visited the central library of MU. The visit is part of a hands-on training on the automated system for indexing (e.g Koha system)
The visit also included checking Arabic and English book halls, digital information resource hall, reading rooms, reading retreats, and the newly added facilities, which are the group study hall, the quiet reading hall, the academic writing center, the university theses hall, the private collections hall, as well as the Documents and Manuscripts Center.
The visiting students were welcomed by the director of administrative and financial Affairs at the Deanship, Mr. Yasser Al-Dahesh, who gave a full explanation about the automated cataloging system.
At the end of the visit, souvenirs were presented to students.
