In the presence of MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, vice-rectors, deans and directors, Majmaah University held the annual celebration of Eid Al-Fiter amid precautionary measures to fight Covid-19.
The celebration began by a speech delivered by MU rector who expressed his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his Crown Prince as well as to everyone at MU on this occasion, commending the government efforts in fighting the pandemic by making the vaccine available for citizens and expatriates.
He also mentioned that the university established a vaccine center at the request of the Ministry of Health and set up another one for the university staff and their dependents.
Giving credit to the university staff for their great efforts during the last academic year, Dr. Al-Muqren has proved its capability to handle any situation successfully.
The vice-rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, gave a talk congratulating everyone the success of the last academic year and attributed that to the guidance of MU rector and unfailing commitment of the university staff.
In his address in this celebration to everyone, the vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, pointed out that, despite the current situation of the pandemic, the university has achieved considerable progress in graduate studies and scientific research.
The number of educational programs and diplomas have increased substantially along with graduates in these programs, added Al-Rumaih.
The celebration was concluded by the speech of the vice-rector for educational affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Oubudi, who highlighted the success of face-to-face exam due to the implementation of the highest safety measures by staff, faculty members and students.
