BREAST CANCER EARLY DETECTION CAMPAIGN HELD BY MU

In a ceremony under the patronage of MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, the vice-rector for student affairs at female campus, Dr. Jawaher al-Omar, launched the breast cancer early detection campaign, which was held on the World Breast Cancer Awareness Day.

The ceremony began by a recitation of Holy Quran followed by a speech delivered by the vice-rector, Dr. al-Omar who talked about the aim and the works undertaken by the university in this campaign as well as the past years.

A documentary film and a lecture about the breast cancer early detection were delivered.

Other virtual activities and lecture were also held during the campaign, such as a lecture by Dr. Musaed Raizah on day one, from 8 to 9 pm via this link ( https://cutt.us/wtTie ); a lecture by Dr. Saad al-Ghatani on day two, from 9 to 10 am via this link ( https://cutt.us/zr1X6 ).

The campaign organized by the university every year aims to raise women awareness of the risk of breast cancer and the best prevention methods.
