SEASONAL INFLUENZA VACCINE CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED BY MEDICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The Medical Services Department launched a Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Campaign in the medical center at main campus in Majmaah. To be vaccinated against seasonal influenza, the university staff were advised to visit the medical center after booking an appointment via phone.

The aim of this campaign is to protect the university staff from contagious diseases.

 The success of vaccine against infection by influenza viruses among adults can reach up to 90%; reduce enormously (up to 60%) the effects of sickness among elderly people; and curb leading causes of death with a percentage up to (80%).

Approximately 300 beneficiaries availed themselves of vaccination services.
