In the presence of MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, Majmaah University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Coca-Cola Company with the aim of providing a training to graduates.
A rhetorical ceremony was held which began by a welcoming speech for the director of recruiting and graduate affairs, Dr. Saleh Mayouf, who pointed out that signing a memorandum of cooperation with the largest beverages factory in Sudair Industrial City is another successfully achievement and contributes to the development of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 in aligning educational systems with the market needs.
Dr. Mayouf said that this agreement will be brought into effect during the summer training programs and programs ending in employment. The university intends, via this agreement, to obtain data that might be useful to the Recruitment and Graduate Affairs Center in determining the orientation of job market and evaluating the university outcomes, an act that would help in designing programs capable of qualifying graduates for job market, added Dr. Mayouf
Ms. Safa al-Talhi, director general of training and development at Coco-Cola, delivered a speech said that the company was very keen to sign this agreement since the factory moved from Riyadh to Sudair Industrial City to recruit Saudi youths.
The vice-rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed al-Obudi, represented the university in the signing ceremony and Ms. Al-Talhi represented the Coca-Cola Company.
