MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, chaired the eighth meeting of the university council for the academic year 1441/1442 AH in the conference hall, in the presence of vice-rectors and deans as well as the general secretary of universities affairs council, Dr. Mohammed al-Saleh- who attended the meeting virtually.
The meeting was launched by a welcoming speech for the rector who commended the order of moving forward this year’s second-semester exams at all levels from their scheduled dates, an act which demonstrates the concern of this country’s government about the safety of both citizens and residents.
The General Secretary of the Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, pointed out that several topics in the agenda of the meeting were addressed, most importantly are introducing new units and centers at the university, academic admission and evaluation plan for the academic year 1443-1444 AH, recommendations issued by standing committees and the regulation of student clubs.
