Under the patronage of MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, the Vice-Rector’s Office for Female Student Affairs, held the second forum of Achieve your Ambitions’ Initiative under the theme “Future Tales”.
The forum was launched by the supervisor of the Vice-Rector’s Office, Dr. Asma Al-Qateem, followed by a speech delivered by the vice-rector, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, who pointed out that the university leaders are keen to help this category of students.
Then students began to share their experience in the forum which began by a talk for the graduate student, Newayer Al-Subayaa, from the College of Humanities in Remah, who explained her inspiring struggle with disability and study challenges. Sharing her ability to overcome the challenges, Latifa Al-Taweel, a student at the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat, gave another talk.
The student Fawzia Al-Otaibi, a student from the College of Education in Zulfi, shared video clips designed and produced by her that highlight the university’s efforts to fight the pandemic. The last participation was by the student Amal Al-Mutairi, from the College of Business Administration, who presented a written speech and photos of some of her hobbies.
The forum was concluded by a speech for Dr. Al-Qateem who extended her thanks to the university leaders for supporting this category of students. Special thanks were also expressed to the Social Responsibility Observatory and the Deanship of Information Technology for their contribution to make this event successful.
