As part of the university pursue to meet the requirements of the Kingdom’s vision 2030, and based on the approval of the minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Shaikh, a forum was held by MU in partnership with the Family Affairs Council, entitled “family and universities’ affairs council ‘unity of goal and integration of roles”.
The forum which will take place virtually on Thursday will be a platform for discussing the strategies of the council to bridge the gap between the universities and the council.
The vice-rector and the chairman of the preparatory committee, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, pointed out that the forum is held at the request of MU rector, to open up to the constituents of the society and to collaborate with the developmental institutions to improve the quality and efficiency of the services provided to citizens.
The forum aims to achieve multiple goals, added Prof. Al-Dosari, and they are: introducing the universities to the council’s strategies, discussing the mutual tasks between the universities and the council, addressing three topics through several sessions.
The vice-rector welcomed all experts and researchers specialized in the field of development to participate in the associated workshops of the forum.
