MU, represented by Employment Services Center and Graduate Affairs, participated in a virtual workshop held by the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf). The workshop took place in the presence of the supervisors of the Graduate Employment Office at five universities with the aim of informing them of the Fund’s programs and initiatives to support employment, and to enable university graduates to benefit from these programs and increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
The workshop reviewed the incentives and capabilities provided by the Fund to the Employment Office in universities and their employees, through the Vocational Education and Guidance Portal (Sabil), the electronic training platform (Doroob), the on-the-job training program (Tamheer), the National Labor Portal (Taqat), and the Professional Certificate Support Program Professionalism.
The workshop dealt with introducing the Fund’s programs and initiatives, and the controls and how university graduates can benefit from those programs and initiatives that will help them activate the role of the agreement. Competitiveness and raising the employment rate, as part of the “Goal” initiative in the program to support graduate employment offices in universities.
MU’s participation in the workshop was at the request of the vice-rector for educational affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Obudi, and was represented by the supervisor of the center, Dr. Salih Mayof, and the head of employment, Mr. Yousef Al-Mutairi.
