MU, represented by the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and under the supervision of the Deanship of Library Affairs, has wrapped up its participation in Riyadh Book Fair, 2021, which was held by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and launched by the Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah Al-Saud.
As one of Ten Saudi Universities taking part in the book fair, MU’s pavilion featured faculty members’ publications such as books and refereed journals in different fields.
High-profile figures visited the university’s pavilion such as King Saud University rector, Prof. Badran Al-Omar and Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University rector, Prof. Ahmed Al-Ameri as well as the dean of Library Affairs, Prof. Mahad Al-Khathami.
The Riyadh International Book Fair (RIBF) is held annually in Riyadh and represents a platform for companies, institutions, and individuals working and interested in the literature, publishing, and translation sectors to present their books and services.
Riyadh International Book Fair will see the participation of 1,000 publishing houses from 28 countries to focus on reading and raising awareness for all age groups.
