In its first meeting of fourth session, the Riyadh Province Emirate Council commended the higher professional diploma program in social responsibility which is offered by the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services at MU.
The program was described by the council as phenomenal and contributed to qualifying people who are interested in the area of social responsibility in different developmental sectors, inviting developmental committees and units in Riyadh to avail themselves of this program.
The vice-rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, pointed out that the launch of this program was at the request of the rector, Prof. Al-Mizil, who stressed the importance of the university being engaged in the community to support the efforts developmental institutions.
The praise of a sector such as the province council for this program reflects the remarkable work done by the university in achieving the requirements of development, added Prof. Al-Dosari.
Targeting BA students in areas such as health, science and humanities, the professional diploma was launched at the beginning of the academic year 1443 AH, and it is a two-semester program with a total of 27 hours.
