Under the chairmanship of Majmaah governorate, Prince Abdelrahman bin Abdullah, and in the presence of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil, and the vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, the first meeting of Majmaah Development Committee was held at the governorate office.
The meeting began by a welcoming for the governor who pointed out that forming this committee is attributed to the rapid development Majmaah governorate is experiencing and the unconditional support received from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as well as the striving shown by all sectors and local community to work collectively in making the city a role to be emulated in terms of harnessing the available resources optimally and avoiding any unplanned decision.
Members of this committee include: Majmaah Governorate, Majmaah University, Majmaah Municipality, Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Office, Commercial Chamber, Town Council.
