Based on the strategic partnership between MU and Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), the Intellectual Property Protection Unit, represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs, is holding on Monday a forum patronized by MU rector, Prof. Al-Mizil, entitled “Intellectual property in media”.
The aim of the forum is to raise awareness and promote intellectual property in media among those interested in media field. The forum will address different themes, most importantly, the mechanism of using multimedia in official media platforms, protection of intellectual property rights for media production and the mechanism for registering and protecting intellectual property in logos of government and private bodies.
Among the participants in this forum is the official spokesperson of SAIP, Mr. Yasser Al-Hakami, who will highlight the range of services provided by SAIP.
