Under the patronage of MU rector, Prof. Al-Mizil, the Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs at MU held a forum on 'three semester system' in Riyadh, with the participation of 15 speakers from colleges and supporting deanships.
The forum began by a speech delivered by the rector who highlighted the importance of keeping pace with developments, changes, and educational and academic trends to shift to three classrooms, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The rector's speech also included that labor market's needs should be met through educational programs, on top of which professional diplomas, which will boost students' opportunities of employment after graduation.
Prof. Al-Mizil pointed out that there should be more focus on special majors that are likely to produce high competitive outcomes.
