Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education Mr. Yousef Al-Benyan, MU held the International Conference of Rehabilitation, Sport, and Orthopedic Trauma, during the period from 30-31, January 2024.
Before the commencement of the conference, Prof. Al-Mezal launched the associated exhibition that showcased the research posters.
The minister of education's opening speech was delivered by MU's rector, Prof. Al-Mezal who began by welcoming participants to the conference which brings together a group of local, regional, and international experts in the field of sports medicine and orthopedic trauma to address the rehabilitation future in alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030, the latest developments in medical majors related to academic and practical sports rehabilitation and the progress being made in diagnosing and treating orthopedic trauma along with the emerging technologies in rehabilitation.
The speech highlighted that holding this conference by MU is evidence of its pursuit of excellence in academia, scientific research, and community service.
A film was played showcasing the university's contribution to medical rehabilitation followed by awarding the participants in this conference.
The conference featured workshops and plenary sessions addressing a wide range of themes focusing on orthopedic trauma, rehabilitation, and sport.
