The 2-day international stroke conference held by Majmaah University under the patronage of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, came to an end.
The second day witnessed a huge number of visitors and advocates of stroke. Three plenary sessions were held addressing many of the conference's themes. MU signed three Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Stroke Society, the Saudi Neurological Society, and the Saudi Society for Medical Engineering Technology.
Prof. Abdelrahman Al-Harbi delivered the closing speech and recommendations adopted in this conference.
Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, MU's rector expressed his gratitude for organizing this conference which aims to enhance awareness about health care, achieve progress in the field of research, and face the challenges risking human health, particularly in the field of strokes.
The conference, added Prof. Al-Mezal, is aligned with the university's vision and mission of scientific research and sustainability in human health, which is one of the programs adopted by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The rector concluded his remark by thanking pharmaceutical companies, health organizations, academic institutions, and all partners and sponsors whose contribution have made this conference a success.
