Under the patronage of Riyadh Governor's wife, Princess Nora bint Mohammed Al-Saud, MU held on Sunday the 15th graduation ceremony for the year 1445, in the presence of the advisor of the rector, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, deans, and students' guardians.
Inaugurated by the national anthem, and followed by Quran recitation, everyone then listened to the rector's welcoming speech who thanked Riyadh Governor's wife for patronizing the ceremony and congratulated graduates on this happy occasion.
A speech was then delivered by the advisor of the rector, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, who highlighted the generous support of the government to the education sector. She also congratulated the graduates their success and motivated them to fulfill the country's vision and represent the university in the best possible manner.
As the graduation parade took off, everyone listened to the dean of College of Nursing, Dr. Ashwaq Asiri, delivering a speech on behalf of the dean of admission and registration. The speech highlighted the university's strive to serve the provinces and centers located within the university's geographical area, allowing them to complete their education without the hassle of travel and commuting.
A word of encouragement was conveyed to graduates followed by expressing gratitude to their parents and faculty members for supporting them during this journey.
On behalf of all graduates, Hessah Al-Zamil, a student at the university, delivered a thank you speech to MU rector and all faculty members for their guidance and support during their study which ended up with this great achievement.
A documentary film was shown, narrating the journey of the graduates since day one and reflecting their feelings for their achievements.
Before the end of the ceremony, everyone watched a presentation showing the programs and activities held during this year.
The ceremony ended by awarding outstanding students certificates of appreciation.
