At the request of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and the follow-up of the vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Prof. Muhammad Al-Shehri, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center participated in the Creativity and Innovation Festival, which was held in Qassim region during the period from 11-16 July. Al-Qa'dah 1445 AH, under the generous patronage of Qassim Governor, Dr. Faisal Al Saud.
The university students presented outstanding projects that serve various development sectors, such as health care, public transportation, water technologies, and financial technologies. These projects were commended by visitors.
Prof. Al-Shehri pointed out that the university’s participation in this festival is part of the university’s pursuit of encouraging of innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives and to connect students with the local community and investors.
Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Mutairi, the head of Innovation Center added that this participation manifests the university's commitment to motivating creative people and investing in their innovations and talents, helping them to transfer their innovations to industry.”
