Under the patronage of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, the Deanship of Development and Quality held the closing ceremony of Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence and the Deanship’s work in the presence of the vice-rectors, deans and directors of administrations.
The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a speech delivered by the dean of Development and Quality, Dr. Fares Al-Fares, who highlighted the Deanship's achievements, including the status of institutional accreditation - completed stages and remaining requirements - and the program accreditation - the academic programs accredited in 2023 and those under process in 2024.
The dean also mentioned about the deanship's efforts in forming auditing and evaluation teams from the university staff, developing faculty members' skills and conducting surveys of beneficiaries’ satisfaction with the services provided by the Deanship.
Pointing out the deanship's role in the Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence, Dr. Al-Fares said that the deanship evaluated last year's award (1444) and developed a guide for this year.
The rector wrapped up the ceremony by honoring the committees assigned for the institutional accreditation renewal project in its first phase as well as the programs that obtained academic accreditation, and the partners of the Deanship of Development and Quality.
