Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, MU rector, welcomed in his office the vice-rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammad Al-Shehri, a team from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Deanship of Student Affairs to congratulate them on the success of the students' participation in the Entrepreneurship Clubs Empowerment Camp, which was organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises at King Saud University.
The rector awarded the winning team in the camp for being among the best (3) promising entrepreneurial projects. The team, which included two students: Sarah Al-Sulaiman and Hadeel Al-Dahash, was encouraged by the rector to develop their project to become one of the university's emerging companies.
Prof. Al-Shehri pointed out that this honor is an evidence of the rector's support of innovation and entrepreneurship system and the students' skills to compete locally and globally.
The head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Mutairi, said that the interest of the university leaders in strengthening this system has had a great impact on students' enthusiasm to participate in such activities.
