MU Rector, Saleh Al-Mezal, welcomed in his office a delegation from the University of East Anglia headed by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Prof. Stephen McGuire, to form academic partnerships between the two universities.
Prof. Al-Mezal highlighted the importance of such visit to enhance the quality of education, develop scientific research and open new horizons for creativity and innovation to meet the growing demands of the labor market.
The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammad Al-Shehri, met the delegation and discussed ways of joint cooperation in several fields with a particular focus on master's and bachelor's programs.
The delegation toured the Engineering Research and Applied Sciences Center, the Health and Basic Sciences Research Center, and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center as well as attending the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Circle Exhibition and Forum which featured multiple innovative projects.
The Supervisor of the Knowledge Exchange and Scientific Societies Department, Dr. Bader Al-Harbi, expressed his thanks to the rector and the vice-rector for their unconditional support to build strategic partnerships with international universities to exchange knowledge and expertise, improve the quality of higher education and scientific research and achieve sustainable development.
