Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, launched a number of new diploma programs in distance education at the Applied College. The launch took place in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, the Dean of Information Technology and E-Learning, Prof. Khalid Al-Mudhaibri, and the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer. These programs aim to allow more students to have an opportunity to develop their professional skills.
Five new diploma programs were designed to meet the quality and accreditation standards of the Education Evaluation Commission and in line with the university's quality control policy. The programs also adhered to e-learning standards and were licensed by the National Center for E-Learning in coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology and E-Learning, MU.
The programs featured different specializations such as Sports and Recreational Management Program (Intermediate Diploma), Health Services Management Program (Intermediate Diploma), Accounting and Taxation Program (Intermediate Diploma), Management Program for People with Disabilities (Associate Diploma), and Business English Program (Associate Diploma).
The CEO of the Applied College pointed out that these new programs aim to meet the growing demands of the labor market and to achieve the vision and mission of applied colleges.
