On Sunday at the main campus in Majmah, the Department of Public Relations held the annual Congratulatory Ceremony for the University staff on the 9th ‘Eid al-Fitr since the University establishment. MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin extended his sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, to Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, to the University staff and the Saudi citizens, praying the Almighty to bless the country with peace and prosperity and urging students and staff members to realize the importance of unity and patriotism. “I would like to thank the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, for the special care given to the education sector, particularly higher education, which contributed to a stronger and competitive infrastructure,” Dr. Muqrin said. Having shown appreciation for the efforts of the University staff, the Rector stressed the need to adhere to the principles and values of teamwork as well as the provision of good services to the students at the University. Following the Rector’s speech, the Vice rectors, deans and heads of departments exchanged greetings and congratulations.
