MU has earned a 7-year institutional accreditation from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA). MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren received the certificate of institutional accreditation from His Highness Prince Faisal Al-Meshari Al-Saud, Director of National Center for Assessment, in the forum of quality of education, 2018, organized by the NCAAA. To be qualified for this accreditation, MU has met all requirements set by the Commission which indicates the level of quality maintained by the university, a goal set by the university to measure up to the expectations of market. MU rector, Dr. Al-Mugren said that a strategic plan has been set and pursued over the last years and couple of visits paid by a delegation of experts in the field of quality who evaluated the university based on 11 standards. The delegation’s visit included colleges and deanships and thousands of documents were examined in both Arabic and English as well as conducting interviews for the university leaders, deans, directors, students, alumni and recruiting sectors. According to MU rector, the university is very committed to institutionalize its work in all activities in line with the kingdom vision 2030 which relies heavily on quality of performance. Dr. Al-Mugren concluded his remarks by extending his thanks to the government for its unlimited support and follow-up.
