Majmaah University (MU) has won the 4th round of King Abdulaziz Quality Award for the category of government higher education – bronze level. The award aims to achieve institutional excellence in body, private and non-profit sectors in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030. Over 300 institutions have applied for the award, 134 of which have met the requirements of evaluation. Eventually, 40 institutions were qualified for the final stage of evaluation, and 26 institutions have won the award. MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, said that this award is so important for it shows the level of quality achieved by the university. The primary aim of the award is to ensure the governance of all evaluation processes to maintain impartiality and justice. This achievement is a normal result of the exceptional support that the university receives from the government which have contributed to the improvement of quality and further success domestically and globally. The late institutional academic accreditation the university has obtained had paved the way for further achievements of quality.
