Community Service Department is responsible for:
- Developing community service programs based on the community needs.
- Activating community partnership with non-profit organizations and the public and private sectors.
- Promoting the culture of community service among students and university employees.
- Preserving the cultural and civilizational heritage of the community.
- Integrating community issues into research projects.
- Improving the efficiency of university employees.
- Monitoring all events, conferences and seminars related to community service and highlighting the important ones.
- Proposing financial, administrative and regulatory work guides for the entities affiliated with the Community Service Department to be used in community service activities.
The Community Service Department includes several units including:
1- Local Development Programs Unit.
2- Community Service Follow-up Unit in Colleges.
3- Mobile Community Services Unit.
4- Awareness and Education Unit.
5- Community Participation Unit.
