First - Social Responsibility Department:

- Conducting social responsibility programs at the university, by proposing development initiatives based on monitoring and follow-up 

- Monitoring the social responsibility activities implemented by the university in order to be evaluated according to specific criteria in order to develop them.

- Documenting successful experiences and best practices in social responsibility in various fields. 

- Building a social responsibility database that includes all experts, researchers, academics and those interested in social responsibility, with the aim of optimal utilization of specialized human power.

- Suggesting financial, administrative and regulatory guidelines for social responsibility institutions to facilitate their use in various social responsibility activities.

- Monitoring all events, conferences and seminars related to social responsibility and selecting the most important ones to encourage others to participation in them.

- Sponsoring in-depth studies on responsibility in coordination with the relevant authorities at the university. - Suggesting academic, professional and educational development programs

- Activate holding conferences, seminars, lectures and workshops in coordination with the relevant authorities at the university.

- Carrying out any other tasks assigned to the observatory within its field of competence.

 

 

The social responsibility department includes several entities, and they are:

 

1- Volunteer Work Center:

* Spreading and enriching the culture of volunteer work at the university.

* Supervising the volunteer work at the university.

* Following up on volunteer opportunities at the university.

* Setting controls for volunteer opportunities and how to join them.

* Coordinating with relevant departments at the university and the community in the field of volunteer work.

* Evaluating and developing volunteer work at MU.

 

2- People with Special Needs Center:

* Supervising the implementation of the university’s document for students with special needs.

* Providing social, psychological, medical, educational and vocational services to people with special needs.

* Educating the public with the rights of people with special needs within the university’s geographical scope.

 

3- Family and Childhood Center:

* Being responsible to everything related to family and childhood within the geographical scope of the university.

* Providing consultations and research, and participating in family and childhood festivals.

* Educating the public with the family and children’s rights.

 

4- Blood Bank Club:

* Assisting health authorities located within the university's geographical scope to increase their stock of blood units.

* Reaching donors at the place and time that suits them using a mobile health unit equipped with the latest medical equipment and a highly professional team.

* Spreading the culture of blood donation within the geographical scope of the university.

 

 

Second - Community Service Department:

* Developing community service programs in light of community needs.

* Activating community partnerships with non-profit institutions and government and private sectors.

* Promoting the culture of community service among students and employees.

* Contributing to the preservation of cultural and civilizational heritage of society.

* Introducing societal issues into research projects.

* Improving the efficiency of university employees.

* Monitoring all events, conferences and seminars related to community service.

* Proposing financial, administrative and regulatory work guides for entities affiliated with the Community Service Department.

 

The Community Service Department contains several entities, and they are:

1- Local Development Programs Division:

* Following up on the implementation of community service programs listed in the university’s tenth development plan and the university’s second strategic plan.

* Activating the university’s role in developing the local community in terms of social, economic, cultural, health, and workforce employment fields.

* Proposing plans to develop the local community’s awareness to participate in university activities.

* Spreading the culture of collective participation in implementing development goals.

* Providing proposals that contribute to overcoming the obstacles to achieving this role.

 

2- Community Service Follow-up Division:

* Following up on how to conduct community service programs in colleges.

* Supporting colleges in the field of community service.

 

3- Mobile Community Services Division:

* It is responsible for monitoring the mechanism of providing community services through the observatory’s mobile centers.

 

4- Awareness and Education Division:

* Proposing awareness and education programs in the field of community development, such as educational and training programs, seminars and lectures that help spread the culture of community service.

* Proposing scientific conferences focusing on community service issues.

* Cooperating with the media in the field of community service, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

 

5- Community Participations Division:

* Following up on community service work and environmental development, and evaluating programs and plans implemented by relevant authorities at the university.

* Proposing supportive plans to build permanent relationships with community institutions and individuals to contribute to the university’s initiatives and operational plans.

* Building the university’s annual plan to participate in various community events.

 

 

Third - Support Services Department:

* Following up and completing all procedures related to employees including vacations, promotion, transfer, assignment, secondment, overtime, courses, and the like.

* Following up on the operational and strategic plan and annual report.

* Following up on working hours, attendance and departure data of employees, record absences, and inform the relevant authorities.

* Providing support to divisions, identifying the need for furniture, equipment, and advances.

* Supervising the administration’s website constantly.

* Supervising the activation of electronic services and transactions.

* Covering and documenting all events at the administration and sharing them with the General Administration of Public Relations and University Media.

* Preparing general periodic reports on the activities and achievements in coordination with the departments.

* Coordinating with the competent authorities within the university about administrative, technical and service aspects.

* Organizing and preserving documents for easy retrieval.

* Carrying out any other work or tasks assigned by the administration.

 

 

Fourth - Continuing Professional Development Department:

* Assisting health practitioners and conducting training courses and workshops for continuing medical education.

* Adopting the highest quality standards with the aim of developing professional competencies and providing effective solutions for organizations and human capital.

* Fostering the culture of partnership among the trainees to reach the highest levels of excellence.

* Recruiting certified and experienced trainers and consultants and evaluating them according to precise standards.

* Responding to any training requirements efficiently by maintaining quality resources, selectively recruiting employees with the best qualifications and experience and interacting with trainees and market needs.

* Adopting a modern training methodology that emphasizes the effective participation of trainees and making them part of the training process.

* Developing a business portfolio in a balanced manner that suits the administration’s strengths and utilize the most attractive opportunities.
