The Faculty of Education in Alzulfi, represented by the Center of Innovation and Brilliant Ideas Holds a Training Program Entitled “Psychology of Innovation and Creativity”

The Faculty of Education in Alzulfi, represented by the Center of Innovation and Brilliant Ideas in the Faculty Deanship for Female Students’ Affairs, in cooperation with Department of Educational Sciences launched on Wednesday 19/6/1436 a training program entitled “Psychology of innovation and Creativity” in the internal theater of the Faculty. It was presented by Dr. Muna Tawakkul Alsayed, the assistant Professor of psychology and special education in the Department of Educational Sciences. The program targeted the female students of the center of innovation and the students’ brilliant ideas. It aimed to clarify the concept of creative sociology and its role in supporting innovation, identifying the concept of creativity, defining its components and levels as well as explaining the educational implications. Moreover, the program aimed to identify the personal qualities of innovative students in addition to defining creative thinking and explaining the relationship between intelligence, creativity and innovative thinking. The program covered some obstacles of innovation and how to overcome them. A number of training activities were presented, aiming to train students to generate creative ideas through several methods, such as applying the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking in two forms: 1. verbal, and 2. pictures. The program recommended the display and promotion of creative products of the innovation club students. Also, it highlighted the importance of intellectual rights and patents of innovative students in addition to the necessity of exchanging experiences and innovative ideas through some supportive visits.
